During the financial year 2006/7 the Trust made the following grants:

Organisation Project Grant
Welsh National Opera Support for the new production and tour of Monteverdi’s opera, Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria” and support for “Wild Cat”, a new chamber opera and participatory project for WNO Max. £50,000
Wales Millennium Centre The Incubator Project – to assist the development of 3 Welsh Arts organisations and a new body of work for the Weston Studio. £40,000
National Museum Wales To support the exhibition of photographic works by Angus McBean, the acquisition of a self portrait by Angus McBean and the acquisition of a new work by Edmund de Waal. £16,400
Sinfonia Cymru For a tour of performances featuring the full cycle of Beethoven concertos, with Llyr Williams, and the 10th Anniversary concert at St. David’s Hall. (2nd instalment) £15,000
The Circuit The Mid-Wales Music project for young people in association with a tour by the London Mozart Players £11,922
BBC National Orchestra of Wales In support of Entrée – an access project to encourage families and young people to attend classical music concerts, especially focussing on areas of North West Wales. £10,000
London Sinfonietta A performance of contemporary music forming part of the Hay–on–Wye Festival, and an associated contemporary music project for young people in the Monmouth area. £10,000
The Mousetrap Foundation The Family First Nights programme, giving access to the theatre to socially disadvantaged families in London. (2nd instalment of 2) £10,000
Mid-Wales Opera To support performances of The Bartered Bride on tour in Wales £8,000
Vale of Glamorgan Festival of Music Core support for 2006 Festival. £7,500
Lower Machen Festival Core support for the 2006 artistic programme.  (2nd instalment) £6,000
The Wales International Harp Festival Support for master-classes and workshops by international harpists and a new commission for Catrin Finch by Geraint Lewis. £5,000
Presteigne Festival of Music and the Arts Contribution towards new commissions by John McCabe, David Mathews & Hilary Tan for the 25th Anniversary Festival in 2007 and general funding for the 2006 Festival. (1st instalment of 2) £3,500
