Agatha Christie Trust for Children

Support for families with children affected by cancer.

Family First Nights Programme (2nd of 2) To assist disadvantaged families to attend live theatre in London


Mid Wales Opera

New Production of Handel’s Semele in partnership with RWCMD and touring in Wales


Sinfonia Cymru

Core Funding for 20:20 programme


Valley Kids

To support the Visual Arts programme focusing on support for the Artist in residence, community engagement and an international exhibition programme. (1st tranche of 2)


Aloud Charity

To support the extension of OBA activities to include 4 choirs in North Wales


Cheltenham Festivals

Musicate project: aimed at inspiring children to both to love and to critically engage with music.


Paintings in Hospitals

To support the costs of a Wales Project Coordinator and the acquisition of paintings from Welsh artists for the collection over 2 years.


Cory Band

Dahl’ing our Brass Project: for the development and performance of a new composition by Philip Harper linking with the Dahl 100 celebrations and development of the Cory Academy



To support the “Picturing the Revolution” strand of the 2017 Cardiff International Festival of Photography


 Sistema Cymru

To expand the activities of Sistema Cymru in two schools in disadvantaged areas of North Wales.


Mahogany Opera Group

To support performances in Wales of a new family opera, “The Rattler”, by Stephen Deazley and Martin Riley.


National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain

To support talented young Welsh musicians with placements in the NYOGB and “Inspire” activities.

To support the Composer in residence scheme for the National Youth Ensembles, and a recording of a “Clytemnestra “by Rhian Samuel with BBCNow, and soprano Ruby Hughes



To support the development costs of The Floodgates, a new opera production for young people.
